Students develop administrative skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in order to address contemporary issues in human services organization. Students with an Associates of Applied Science degree from community college can transfer up to 75 credits to a specific UA program.

Applied Computing – Digital Design

Students in the Digital Design emphasis actively build, shape and create digital worlds. They do so by analyzing and visualizing data, then designing engaging and effective applications. Students in the Digital Design emphasis graduate ready for careers in web and game design, game development and general digital design. Students with an Associates of Applied Science degree from community college can transfer up to 75 credits to the Bachelor of Applied Science program.

Applied Computing – Information Management

The Software Development emphasis prepares students for a variety of positions, including Software and Web developer, Data Engineer, Mobile App Developer and Data Analyst positions. Cyber Operations: Cyber Engineering

The Bachelor of Applied Science in Cyber Operations, designated by the National Security Agency as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations (CAE-CO), prepares graduates for cyber-related occupations in defense, law enforcement, and private industry. Students with an Associate of Applied Science degree from an AZ community college can transfer up to 75 credits to a UA Bachelor of Applied Science degree.

The curriculum includes both offensive and defensive cyber security content delivered within our state-of-the-art Cyber Virtual Learning Environment to ensure our students have extensive hands-on experiences to develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to succeed after they graduate. The Cyber Engineering emphasis is a deeply technical, interdisciplinary, security focused Computer Science program and meets the National Security Agency (NSA) Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations (CAE-CO) academic requirements.

The Defense & Forensics emphasis is a highly technical, interdisciplinary hands-on Cyber education program. The Defense & Forensics emphasis conforms to academic requirements from both the National Security Agency’s Centers of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations (CAE-CO) and Cyber Defense (CAE-CD).

Intelligence and Information Operations: Law Enforcement Intelligence

The BAS in Intelligence and Information Operations prepares graduates for occupations in defense; the Intelligence Community; federal, state, and local law enforcement; and private industry. The curriculum includes intelligence operations, information warfare, and cybersecurity content delivered within our state-of-the-art Virtual Learning Environment to ensure our students have extensive hands-on experiences to develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to succeed after they graduate. The BAS degree in Intelligence & Information Operations offers three emphasis areas from which to select a specialization in the field: Operational Intelligence, Law Enforcement Intelligence, or Information Warfare.

The Law Enforcement Intelligence track is focused on Intelligence driven policing, forensic analysis, and information sharing. The Law Enforcement Intelligence track conforms to major Federal, State, and Local law enforcement agency academic requirements while also meeting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Intelligence Community - Center of Academic Excellence (IC-CAE) academic requirements.

Our modern world depends on complex communications and computing network to function properly and safely. Network Operations professionals are the people that defend these networks and ensure they operate at peak performance.
 
Network Operations students learn the engineering and operational activities required to create, operate and defend these networks. The curriculum includes theory, operational labs, modern network architecture, advanced routing and switching, systems administration, cloud computing, network defense, wireless networking and network security. Network Operations graduates are prepared to take on a wide variety of IT-related positions in the private, public and government sectors. Students with an Associates of Applied Science degree from community college can transfer up to 75 credits to the Bachelor of Applied Science program.

The BAS in Intelligence and Information Operations prepares graduates for occupations in defense; the Intelligence Community; federal, state, and local law enforcement; and private industry. The curriculum includes intelligence operations, information warfare, and cybersecurity content delivered within our state-of-the-art Virtual Learning Environment to ensure our students have extensive hands-on experiences to develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to succeed after they graduate. The BAS degree in Intelligence & Information Operations offers three subplans, both in-person and fully online: Operational Intelligence, Law Enforcement Intelligence, or Information Warfare.

The Operational Intelligence track is a defense focused intelligence collection, synchronization, and analysis program that prepares graduates for immediate employment within the Intelligence Community.  The Operational Intelligence track meets all of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Intelligence Community - Center of Academic Excellence (IC-CAE) academic requirements.
